In 2010 our hunt will celebrate the culmination
of 50 years of Hunting, Fellowship and Stewardship
that has become the standard of organized hunts in
the United States. Only because of the support by
Past Shooters has this organization been able to achieve
the goals that the originators set out to accomplish.
With that in mind, the Nebraska One Box Board of
Directors is going to offer a 50th Commemorative Shotgun.
With the help of fellow Past Shooter, Matt Loughran
of Odle & Associates, our commemorative shotgun
will be a Grade VII Browning, Citori Lightning, 12
gauge with 28” barrels and engraving specially designed
for the 50th Nebraska One Box Hunt. With the help
of Matt, our organization is going to sell this specifically
designed One Box gun for only $3000.00! As many of
you know a Grade VII Browning will usually retail
in a store for $4500.00. Because of Matt and Odle
& Associates this beautiful firearm can be purchased
from the Nebraska One Box Pheasant Hunt at such a
discounted price.
Many of you purchased the 25th Anniversary Shotgun
and have expressed interest in obtaining the same
serial number for the 50th Anniversary Shotgun. We
will try to honor these requests at no additional
charge. We will keep a few Special Serial Numbers
that will be auctioned at a later date.
The only way to secure your gun order is to send
a down payment of $1500.00 or if you choose, you can
send the entire amount to cover the price of the gun
(taxes will be added on at a later date). The balance
on the gun will be due before the 2010 hunt. We must
have this information back in order to confirm with Browning how
many guns we are going to purchase. At this time,
we are only going to purchase 100 guns. If there are
requests for more than 100 we can increase our order
up to 150 for a limited time only. Consequently you
need to get your request sent in as quickly as you
can in order to ensure your purchase. We will not
be able to purchase additional guns after we make
our final order.
